Natalie Levkovich, CEO of the Health Federation of Philadelphia and one of the founding members of the Multiplying Connections Steering Committee has written a new blog about the importance of self-care for professionals working with clients who experience trauma and adversity. Levkovich poses the question: "How good are we at taking care of ourselves?" She laments that "regrettably, in many if not most settings, little attention is paid or time set aside for clinical or reflective supervision." Levkovich goes on
to strongly advocate that Reflective Supervision be an integral part of health care clinics and other settings that provide interventions to people affected by trauma and adversity. Click here to read the full blog and a case example of reflective supervision in action.
